French Academy of Cosmetology offers programs of study in Cosmetology, Esthetics, Nail Technician (Manicurist) and Cosmetology Instructor that meet minimum curriculum requirements by the State of Michigan.

French Academy of Cosmetology only provides training in the state of Michigan.  All programs offered lead to qualification to sit for licensure exams in Michigan for Cosmetology, Esthetician, Nail Technician (Manicurist) or Cosmetology Instructor.

Michigan requirements for educational hours are as follows (posted at frenchacademyofcosmetology.com:

Cosmetology – 1500 hours

Esthetician – 400 hours

Nail Technician (Manicurist) – 400 hours

Cosmetology Instructor – 500 hours

French Academy recommends that students research other state requirements by referring to the above-mentioned link.  Michigan requirements are posted on our website under Programs. French Academy of Cosmetology accepts transfer hours from other states at the school’s discretion and acceptance of hours is not guaranteed from other states.

French Academy of Cosmetology utilizes Milady textbooks for all programs which are acceptable curriculum for the state of Michigan.
