Financial Aid

The Financial Aid process does not have to be difficult. French Academy of Cosmetology is excited to participate in this federal tuition aid program. Our Financial Aid Director offers each student direction and counseling through every step of the process.

Financial Aid is available only to those who qualify.

STEP ONE:  Create FSA ID and Password

(Federal Student Aid Identification)

If you have never filled out a FAFSA, you will need to create an FSA ID and password. Log on to studentaid.gov to complete this step. You will be using this FSA ID and password several times throughout the financial aid process. Please keep it safe and memorize it!

STEP TWO: FILL OUT FAFSA

(Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

Log on to studentaid.gov to fill out your application. This step usually takes 15-30 minutes. You will be asked to enter schools that you are considering for enrollment. Please add French Academy of Cosmetology (code: 041411). You will be asked to link to the IRS electronically to transfer your tax information. You will use your FSA ID and password to transfer to this site.

After you fill out the FAFSA, you will electronically sign using your FSA ID and password

STEP THREE: FINANCIAL AID REPORT

SENT TO FRENCH ACADEMY

OF COSMETOLOGY

Now the process is in our hands! Three to five business days after you have completed your FAFSA, French Academy will receive a report in the Financial Aid Office. Our director will call you (or email you) to see how we can assist you in your schooling decision. Your Student Financial Aid Report gives our French Academy Financial Aid Director all the information needed to develop an estimated financial plan with you.
